Purpose of My Life
Most human beings will at some point in their life ask themselves the question “What is the purpose of my life”. I have been asking myself this question from the time I became mature and continue to ask myself this question everyday. I see people passing away around me and wonder what would happen if I were to pass away today. What is becoming clearer to me is that I am on a path to the inevitable, which is to stand in front of my Lord on the day of Judgement and to prepare for that awesome day by following the path of success. This path is called the SIRATUM-MUSTAQIM whose definition is ISLAM, IMAN and IBADAH (worship). Studying at Madaris, joining Jalsas and going for Tabligh by the tawfiq of Allah, illuminated the path for me and has shown me the way that Insha’Allah will lead to the eternal success of paradise.
Almighty Allah says “Those who submitted to Islam have found out the right path” and “Allah is surely my Lord and your Lord. So, worship Him. This is the straight path.” and “I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.” This is the purpose of my life and the faith which being the nature designed by Allah on which He has created the mankind. This is the purpose of your life too as well as your children, so turn your face towards it and be active with your noble purpose. It is important that we engage in learning and teaching ourselves and our children.
One of the greatest means of learning is The Madrassah which currently your children attend to learn the purpose of their life. Look after the wellbeing of this Madrassah, as it is the source of eternal success for your families.
Maintaining Unity Amongst You
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) once addressed the Sahabah and said to them: “Should I not inform you of an action that is more virtuous than fasting, Salaah and charity?” He then said: “maintaining unity amongst you and mending broken relations with your relatives and fellow Muslim brothers is this action. To break such relations eradicates the good deeds of a person” (Tirmiza: Hadith #: 2509)

Competition In Amassing
You are distracted by mutual competition in amassing (worldly benefits), until you reach the graves. No! (This is not a correct attitude.) You will soon know (the reality). Again, you will soon know. No! Only if you knew (it) with a sure knowledge! (of the hereafter, you would not have been so distracted) You will certainly see the Hell, then you will see it with an eye of certainty. Then you will be asked about all the pleasures (you enjoyed in the world). Al-Quran S102.
The Competitors Should Compete
Indeed the righteous will be in absolute bliss. While (sitting) on thrones they will be watching (the scenes of Paradise). You will recognize the glamour of bliss on their faces. They will be served with a pure sealed wine to drink, the seal of which will be of musk._It is this (bliss) in aspiring for which the competitors should race each other. Al-Quran S83.
The Arabic Language And Other Courses
This Ramadhan our special courses will continue for all children. So our Madrassah will run continuously throughout the year (including Ramadhan) but in Ramadan there will only be weekend classes (two days in a week) from 11:15am to 1:15pm. There are no extra fees for the courses except their monthly ones.
Attendance
Every child should attend the Madrassah on time and go on time. All parents should ensure their child/ren attendance is at least 80% or more in every term.
Hijaab
Allah (s) made the adherence to the Hijab a manifestation for chastity and modesty: O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they should draw down their shawls over them 33:59

Moon Sighting Workshop
On Saturday, 9th July 2011 at 1:30 pm (Zuhar) - 3.30 pm there will be Prominent Scholars present at our Masjid. They will talk about the months and the moon to know how and when start and end our prayer times and fast. As the holy month of Ramadan 1432 is very near, this workshop will discuss when and where the moon may be reliably sighted to start/end the lunar (Qamary) month and also how to revive the Sunnah of Moon Sighting in the UK, Insha-Allah.
RAMADHAN
The month of Ramadhan is the one in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for mankind, and as clear signs that show the right way and (as) distinguish between right and wrong. So those of you who witness the month must fast in it. But the one who is sick, or is on a journey (should fast) as much from other days (as he/she missed). Allah intends (to provide) ease for you and does not intend (to create) hardship for you. All this is so that you may complete the number (of fast as prescribed) and proclaim the TAKBEER (greatness) of Allah for having guided you, and (so) that you may be grateful. 2:185
